Dan’s professional career spans from IT to medical technology including two years at Johns Hopkins in the US. He studied Engineering and Mathematics, after which he pursued his PhD in Bio-Engineering at Johns Hopkins and Oxford University.

Operations Strategy

John was for six years the BBC's Director of Policy & Strategy, leading and securing the Corporation's £23bn funding deal as well as chairing its commercial business BBC Studios & Post-Production. He worked for McKinsey & Company and is currently COO of Tamkeen - an Abu Dhabi's Executive Affairs Authority affiliate company. John is a also a National Advisory Council member of TeachFirst.

Lord Howard Flight

Business Strategy

Howard was the MP for Arundel, during which time he was Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury. He was appointed to the House of Lords in 2010. He also has a career going back 40 years in the investment management industry. With Tim Guinness he built up Guinness Flight which was subsequently acquired by, and constitutes the UK business of, Investec Asset Management. Howard is a director of a number of companies in the financial services sector, including the Metro Bank.

Dr Eli Silber

Clinical Lead

Eli has been a consultant at the Kings Regional Neuroscience Centre, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and London Bridge Hospital. He worked as a senior registrar at Charring Cross Hospital, followed by research at Guy's Hospital. He set up and runs a nationally recognised regional multiple sclerosis service.

Professor Tony Whetton

Healthcare Infrastructure Lead

Tony is Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medical and Human Sciences at the University of Manchester, one of the largest medical schools in Europe. He is also the Lead for Infrastructure and Technology in the Manchester Academic Health Science Centre, a consortium of the University and 6 NHS Trusts. He obtained a PhD in signal transduction research and biophysical chemistry.

Dr Rich Khatib

CEO

Drives company strategy, operations and finance. His career in EMEA & US, include CEO of a $1B impact investment foundation of the Oceanic Bank International. Previously he kick-started Mondus, a leading European electronic procurement firm, as vice president and 1st team member. In 2001 Mondus sold to Telecom Italia for a total deal of €400 million, delivering a 10X return on the original investment of VC firm 3i. He studied business in Germany and holds a DPhil majoring in economics from Oxford University.

Paul Richardson

NHS Expert

Paul has extensive experience as a Board level NHS Trust Executive and is a high risk Project Advisor for the UK Department of Health. As a Programme and Project Director within the NHS he has led major organisational change initiatives, PFI and publicly funded redevelopment programmes, and IT investment projects.

John Scott

Peoples Operations

John has over 25 years' of experience in human resources, financial and consulting services. He has held leadership and advisory roles across EMA and is an expert in M&A, dispute resolution, leadership development and organisational change. He previously was director of HR at PwC and Lazard. John holds a MSc from LSE, an MBA from Cass Business School and is a CEDR accredited mediator.
